ABSTRACT The present invention relates to 2-(imidazol-1-yl)-2-benzyl- ethylidene-aminoxyalkanoic acid derivatives of formula (I) Image (I) wherein A is a divalent group of formula Image , in which R1 is hydrogen, halogen, CF3, C1-C4 alkoxy, C1-C4 alkylsul- fonyl or cyano; R1 is a) phenyl unsubstituted or substituted by halogen, C1- C4 alkoxy, CF3 or C1-C4 alkylsulfonyl; b) cyclohexyl; or c) a straight or branched C1-C6 alkyl group; T is a branched or straight C3-C5 alkylene chain; R2 is hydrogen or C1-C4 alkyl, and the pharmaceutically ac- ceptable salts thereof, which are useful as selective inhibitors of thromboxane A2 (TxA2) synthesis.
