DISPLAYS USING LIQUID MEDIUMS Abstract of the Disclosure An apparatus and a process for displaying a visible image are disclosed. A solution in liquid of at least two types of polymeric materials contained between two electrodes, at least one of which is transparent, is subjected to imagewise elec- trical voltage. The polymers comprise cellulose nitrate, polyester, polyvinylcarbazole, and formaldehyde condensation polymers.
