A system and method of verifying application of an authentication mark on a substrate (28) is disclosed. Light-sensitive compounds can be used to identify the product or product packaging. A printer (22), locatable at the production line (24), prints at least one light-sensitive compound on the product or product package to produce at least a portion of the authentication mark (26). A verification device (40), locatable at the production line (24), verifies the application of the at least one light-sensitive compound on the product or product package.
L'invention concerne un système et un procédé permettant de vérifier l'application d'une marque d'authentification sur un substrat (28). Des composés photosensibles peuvent être utilisés pour identifier le produit ou l'emballage du produit. Une imprimante (22) pouvant être placée sur la chaîne de production (24) imprime au moins un composé photosensible sur le produit ou sur l'emballage du produit de manière à créer au moins une partie de la marque d'authentification (26).
