ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE This invention discloses novel compounds of the formula: Image (I) and Image (II) wherein R1 is selected from the group consisting of phenyl, cycloalkyl and substituted phenyl, the substituent of said substituted phenyl selected from the group consisting of hydrogen or lower alkyl, A is -CH2O- -CH2(O-lower alkyl)- and n is zero (0) or one (1), however, when R1 together with (A)n means unsubstituted phenyl, R2 is alkyl, and R3 is hydrogen or lower alkoxy; and a process for producing the same. These compounds have excellent anti-ulcerous action, especially with respect to chronic gastric ulcers.
