Ralph Morell Heintz was an inventor in Los Gatos CA and invented things from radios that accompanied Byrd to the N Pole to bombsites in WWII to the initial design for the rotary engine (stolen by a Japanese grad student from his lab at Sanford) to at the end of his life an eye surgery tool. He gave his land for a park in Los Gatos.
