Abstract Compounds having the formula Image wherein R1 is hydrogen, halogen, lower alkyl, lower alkoxy or nitro, R2 is hydrogen, halogen or lower alkoxy, and A is -Q-COOR1, wherein Q is lower alkylene or cyclo- lower alkyl and R is hydrogen or lower alkyl, or A is -(CH2)n-R3 wherein R3 is imidazol-4-yl or indol-3-yl and n is 1,2,3 or 4, are useful as anti-inflammatory agents.
