Abstract What is disclosed is a method of compatibilizing natural or synthetic organic rubber with silicone rubber in order to enhance the properties of the final rubber product. The method consists of compounding silicone rubber with natural and/or synthetic organic rubber in the presence of an additional organopolysiloxane having long chain carbon substituents attached to the silicon atoms.
