ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A coated paperboard container including a body portion having a top end closed by a slant top end closure comprised of a folded gable roof connected to panels of the body portion and a slant top seal which projects upwardly and laterally from the roof at an inclined angle so as to enhance stackability of the container and lessen its required storage space. Different em- bodiments of the container each include outer and inner roof panels, front and back triangular gable panels, and inner and outer seal lips of a construction that enhances the foldability and sealing of the top and closure.
