CHROMATOGRAPHIC SPOTTER Abstract of the Disclosure A spotting apparatus for touching a container, having a capillary exit, to a pressure-sensitive substrate, wherein the pressure of such contact does not exceed generally that provided by the weight of the container. Such pressure control is achieved by permitting relative axial movement of the exit portion of the container with respect to the activating mechanism, to compensate for overtravel of the mechanism. -1-
