ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A sequence control system comprising a transparent program sheet for writing data, a sheet reader having photo-electric switching means, a clock pulse generating circuit for reading data, memory means, a counter means for actuating the memory means in synchronization with the clock pulse, and gate means for controlling data and pulse. On the transparent program sheet, data and write clock pulse are printed with opaque ink. By passing the program sheet through the sheer reader, the data on the sheet are read by operation of the photo-electric switching means and are memorized in the memory means. The data in the memory means may be delivered therefrom as outputs by a singals from the counter means. - 1 -
