ABSTRACT A known device for practising cross-country skiing has a wheeled footboard, and a "cross-country" type ski binding on the top of the footboard. The improvement is the provision of a thrust element extending along above the footboard and attached thereto at its front end, the rear end with the ski binding being liftable away from the footboard, by pivoting or resilient bending, to permit the leg to be raised from the footboard.
