ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A rotary expansion tool for radially expanding the mouth of a hollow article, is provided. The tool comprises a cage, a plurality of rollers held by the case in circumferen- tially spaced relation for movement in an orbit about a long- itudinal axis, an inner race and an outer race, coaxial with the orbit, and the inner race holding the rollers between the inner race and the outer race. Each roller has a work portion projecting longitudinally beyond the outer race drive means operatively connected to the rollers for processing the rollers with the outer race in the orbit around said axis, and support means for holding a hollow article coaxially with said orbit with the work portions for engaging within the mouth of the article so as to expand the mouth.
