Abstract of the Disclosure A prosthesis of arterio-venous bridge for renal dialysis comprises a corrugated, flexible tube made of textile fabric for connection as a bridge between the artery and the vein. The tube has two spaced nipples each of which has a peripheral cap covered with textile fabric sewn to the fabric of the tube and a central portion within the cap. The central portion is formed of a puncturable self-sealing elastomer. With the prosthesis implanted sub- cutaneously, the raised nipples can easily be found and cannular needles inserted therein. When the needles are withdrawn, the nipples self-seal.
