ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A blank for providing and a foldable eyeglass case so pro- vided are disclosed. The eyeglass case comprises: an anterior wall; a posterior wall; and a bottom wall interconnecting the anterior and posterior walls. A pair of lateral wings are provided, which are con- nected, one at each end, to each of the anterior and posterior walls; means are provided on the lateral wings securing associated wings of the anterior wall to respective wings of the posterior wall. A wall is provided extending from the upper edge of the posterior wall to provide a cover. The cover, in turn, terminates in a lapel adapted to be superposed over the front face of the anterior wall. The lapel and the anterior wall are provided with cooperating means for temporarily securing the lapel to the anterior wall.
