Abstract of the Disclosure Novel sodium and potassium salts of N1-chloro- 3,5-dinitrosulfanilamides have now been prepared. The compounds exhibit potent preemergent herbicidal activity and are also useful for the control of plant fungi, especially Plasmorpara viticola, the causative organism of downy mildew of grape.
