ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A telephone toll restrictor circuit comprising input circuit adapted to be connected to telephone line conductors. Telephone digit pulse sensing circuit is connected to the input circuit. A digit pulse counter is connected to the pulse sensing circuit. A pulse generator is provided having an input and an output terminal. The pulse generator input terminal is connected to the sensing circuit. The pulse generator provides a first output signal level prior to and during digit signalling from the digit sensing circuit. The pulse generator provides a second output level for a predetermined time after signalling from the digit sensing circuit. A coincidence gate is provided and having first and second input terminals and an output terminal. The pulse counter is connected to the first coincidence gate input terminal. The output terminal of the pulse generator is connected to the second coincidence gate input terminal, wherein a signal occurs on the coincidence gate output terminal upon the simultaneous occurrence of a signal on the coincidence gate first input terminal and the second output level signal on the second coincidence gate input terminal. A relay circuit is further provided for restricting a telephone call upon the dialing of a predetermined digit. The relay circuit operates in response to the signal on the coincidence gate output terminal.
