Abstract of the Disclosure The present invention provides compounds of formula I, Image I wherein R1 is hydrogen or alkyl of 1 to 4 carbon atoms in position 1 or 2 of the indazole nucleus, R2 is hydrogen, halogen, trifluoromethyl, hydroxy or alkyl, alkylthio or alkoxy of 1 to 4 carbon atoms, or a group of formula II, Image II wherein X is oxygen or sulphur, R3 is hydrogen, halogen, trifluoromethyl, hydroxy or alkyl, alkylthio or alkoxy of 1 to 4 carbon atoms, and R4 is hydrogen or a group of formula II, as defined above, with the proviso that one of R2 and R4 is a group of formula II and the other is other than a group of formula II, useful as myotonolytics and anti-hypertonsives.
