ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An elongated thin-wall bottle formed from synthetic resin and particularly a bottle formed from polyethyleneterephthalate resin molded by biaxial stretch blow molding. The bottle has a construction in which a portion substantially mid-way of the height of the side wall is inwardly and arcuately depressed and a bottom portion of the thus depressed portion is arcuately deformed to a small extent to form a peripheral pro- trusion.
