3-IMINOALKYL-2-(1H)-PYRIDINES Abstract of the Disclosure This invention relates to compounds of formula I, Image I in which R1 is alkyl of 1 to 4 carbon atoms or cycloalkyl of 3 to 6 caxbon atoms, R2 is hydrogen, fluorine, chlorine, or alkyl or alkoxy of 1 to 4 carbon atoms, and R3 is straight chain alkyl of 1 to 4 car- bon atoms, which are obtained by reduction of compounds of formula II Image II in which R1, R2 and R3 are as defined above. The compounds of formula I, and their acid and base addition salt forms, are useful as sleep inducers, minor tranquillisers and neuroleptic agents.
