ABSTRACT A supporting insert, for sealing cables in cable fitting has groove-like recesses for the accommodation of the cables. The lateral ends of the recesses are closed off with break-way inserts. Projections extending radially outwards at the two ends of the supporting insert prevent lateral movement thereof when installed.
