A B S T R A C T A common channel duplex transmitter/receiver with an oscillator adapted to be modulated and to provide a carrier frequency for transmission and a mixer to which received signals and a signal from the oscillator are fed to facilitate demodulation of the received signals. The apparatus may employ either angle or amplitude modulated signals. Circuitry preventing swamping of the received signals by the oscillator carrier signal is also provided.
