Abstract of the Disclosure The addition of an epoxytrialkoxysilane such as glycidoxypropyltrimethoxysilane to room temperature vulcanizable silicone elastomer compositions which vulcanize through the reaction of moisture with silicon- bonded acetoxy functionality gives improved adhesion when cured in contact with substrates such as glass and aluminum without the use of primers. These compositions are used to bond and seal glass and aluminum substrates such as for glazing aluminum frame windows.
