TAMPERPROOF MOLDED PACKAGE Abstract An improved package is described of the type used for packaging food products and other products. A molded plastic container is sealed with a closure cap. In order to prevent unauthorized or undetected opening of the container, a tamperproofing means is provided in the form of a tamperproofing band molded integrally with the container. This band is positioned so that it encloses at least the bottom edge of the closure cap skirt when the cap is applied to the container. This requires at least a portion of the band to be removed before the cap can be removed from the container.
