FLAT-OPENING BOX ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A flat opening box consisting of a central base tray to the sides of which cover shells are hingedly connected to open out onto a flat surface; pivot link members are connected to movable trays in the cover shells which are also hingedly connec- ted to the cover shells so that the box can be opened to a fully flat condition to prevent tilting and spillage of its contents when open.
