A B S T R A C T Disclosed herein are lubricating compounds comprising the reaction product of significant amounts of a fish oil, a sulfur-modified sperm oil, a microcrystalline wax and an oxide of lead, preferably litharge. In one embodiment, the lubricating compounds additionally comprises up to 90% by weight of a hydro- carbon oil which results in an extreme pressure grease lubricant having desirable lubricating properties. Also disclosed herein is a process for preparing the lubricating compounds of the invention.
