"Nickel- and chromium-base alloys possessing very-high resis- tance to carburization at very-high temperature". ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention alloy has the following by-weight compo- sition : - carbon 0.05 to 0.60% - nickel 20 to 55% - chromium 15 to 40% - silicon 0.5 to 2% - maganese 0.5 to 2% - nitrogen 0.03 to 0.20% - niobium 0 to 2% - tungsten and/or molybdenum O to 5% - aluminium 2 to 8% . - copper 0 to 5% - iron and usual impurities in as small quantities as the balance possible an increased resistance to carburization is obtained by endo- genous formation of a barrier opposing the penetration of aluminium.
