Abstract PNEUMATIC TRUCK TIRE An improved heavy duty truck tire having a ground-engaging tread portion comprising a plurality of independent projections arranged in a plurality of circumferentially extending rows forming a plurality of circumferentially extending grooves therebetween. The independent projections have a configuration such that when in the footrpint of the tire they act together to resist lateral and circumferential forces acting upon the tire.
