11 ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The speed governor is secured to a sleeve which slides onto the rotor shaft end and is fixed in place by a set screw extending through the sleeve and bearing against the shaft while one or more flat surfaces on the shaft or the sleeve itself permit easily holding the shaft against rotation during assembly or disassembly of a screwably mounted impeller at the other end of the rotor shaft. In one form, the sleeve is located inwardly of the shaft end and tool holding surfaces are provided on the shaft it- self. In another form, the sleeve abuts against the end of the shaft, is retained in place by an axially extending fastener, and has flats for positioning a tool on the end portion of the sleeve itself.
