ONE-PART MOISTURE CURED AMINOSILOXANES TO SET AND CONDITION HAIR ABSTRACT A composition consisting essentially of (A) a polymer having at least one nitrogen-hydrogen bond; and (B) a readily hydrolyzable, anhydrous additive selected from the group consisting of titanates, zirconates, vanadates, germanates, and mixtures thereof is disclosed. The uniqueness of this invention is that the polymer is crosslinked upon exposure to moisture, such as water vapor but is reverted to noncrosslinked polymer after exposure to liquid water. The composition is particularly useful in a process for concurrently setting and conditioning hair.
