ABSTRACT A self-adhering, orthopedic splint is provided which is capable of being conformed to the contours of a limb which comprises an elongated, warp knit fabric having relatively stiff, inelastic monofilaments in the width direction and relatively flexible, inelastic yarns in the length direction; the monofilaments are interrupted by at least one hinged section running in the lengthwise direction and the fabric is provided with a normally tacky, pressure sensitive adhesive.
