ABREGE DESCRIPTIF L'invention concerne une composition cosmétique transparente réfléchissant le rayonnement infrarouge. La composition selon l'invention contient dans un support cosmétiquement acceptable, à titre d'agent réfléchissant le rayonnement infrarouge, 0,5 à 10% en poids de flocons de dioxyde de titane ayant des dimensions comprises entre 1,5 et 25 microns, dispersibles dans le milieu cosmétique utilisé, possédant une réflectance du rayonnement infrarouge au moins égale à 45% et dont une dispersion à 2% dans la vaseline présente une transmission optique dans le visible d'au moins 85%. Cette composition cosmétique est utilisée pour la protection de l'épiderme humain contre le rayonnement infrarouge.
