"CONVEYOR ROLLER" ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A conveyor roller is provided having a bearing cap ex- tending between the roller and the central shaft. The bearing cap rides on a ring bearing. An outer cap extends between the roller and the shaft and is spaced outwardly from the bearing cap. The outer cap is formed of sheet metal. A tongue is stamped out of it and bent inwardly. A lead counterweight is cast onto the tongue and is thereby secured to the inner surface of the outer cap. To adjust the unbalance of the roller, one simply selects from a plurality of outer caps having different weights and inserts it into the roller.
