ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention provides substituted 1,3-diazolyl-2- propanols of formula (I), Image (I) useful as antimycotic agents. In a preferred compound of formula I both Alk1 and Alk2 represent methyl, both x and y represent nitrogen atoms and R represents a 2,4-dichlorobenzyl group. Also included in the invention are methods for the procurement of said substituted 1,3- diazolyl-2-propanols, compositions containing said antimycotic compounds and methods for the use of said compounds and compositions for treatment of mycoses.
