PRECIS DE LA DIVULGATION: La divulgation décrit un procédé de détection d'effacements affectant une liaison hertzienne numérique et chaîne de réception mettant en oeuvre un tel procédé. La présente invention se rapporte à un procédé de détection d'effacements dans une liaison hertzienne numérique, dans lequel dans une phase d'émission du signal on effectue, avant modulation, un codage de ce signal à l'aide d'un code correcteur d'erreur à faible taux de recouvrement; dans une phase de réception de ce signal après démodulation et décodage, on génère une information de dépassement de capacité dudit décodage, et on intègre cette information de dépassement de capacité pour obtenir une information d'effacement. L'invention concerne également une chaîne de réception mettant en oeuvre ce procédé.
