ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A fuse assembly having a casing, a fuse element made of an electrically conductive material having a low fusion point, and tab insertion sockets into which tab terminals are inserted and which are made of a highly resilient, electrically conductive material having a high fusion point, the fuse element and the tab insertion socket being combined with each other in the casing, the fuse element alone being replaced when blown at a relatively low level of heat generation.
