ABSTRACT To bring not only a front-mounted hydraulic three-point linkage, but also other desireable components such as a power take-off casing and a bearing element adapted to carry ballast weights and incorporating a draft jaw, as near as possible to the front wheel axle and substantially behind the front surface of the front panelling of a farm tractor, the support for all frontally disposed components is a frame flange-mounted on, or integral with, the front axle bearer. The links are disposed outside the panelling, can be swung behind the front surface of the panelling into an inoperative position, are carried by a tubular rock shaft which is connected to hydraulic cylinders, and have respective rear extensions. Each link can, in a certain angular position, be removeably fitted by means of a journal into the tubular rock shaft and, in all other angular positions, can be fixed axially by confining its rear extension in a pocket on the rock shaft with or without limited angular float by means of a retaining bolt engageable in alternative holes. To preset the lowered position of the lower links, a pivotable holder with laterally extending arms can be mounted in the jaw by a bolt, and chains connected to the links can be suspended by any one of their links at the ends of the arms.
