ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: A frame, more particularly for a shower parti- tion, comprising shaped rails connected together at a right angle. In the case of a frame of this kind, pro- blems arise in the corner area in that the surfaces of the rail, shaping element, covering profile, or the like in that area must be carried over into each other. More- over, as a result of production inaccuracies, when a frame of this kind is assembled, gaps arise into which dirt can penetrate and which are also constructionally undesirable. It is therefore proposed that a facing element be provided in the connecting or joint area between the rails on the outside of the frame, the facing element comprising at least one spring locking device. The locking device engages and/or catches in an opening or recess in one the shaped rails, thus ensuring an easily produced but func- tionally reliable attachment of the facing element to this shaped rail.
