13946h -1- APPARATUS FOR USE IN THE MANUFACTURE AND REPAIR OF TUBULAR PRODUCTS Abstract of the Disclosure Apparatus useful in the manufacture and repair of automotive drive shafts which includes a frame and an elongate support bed rotatably mounting a multiple jaw chuck for rotary movement, a generally cylindrical workpiece passage extending through the chuck and its bearings and a pedestal remote from the frame and mounting an additional workpiece support axially aligned with the chuck. Stringers rigidly connect the remote workpiece support to the frame and a plurality of devices are mounted and movable relative to the support bed for selectively effecting operations on one end of a tubular workpiece supported by the multiple jaw chuck with the other end of said tubular workpiece supported by the remote workpiece support mounted to the pedestal.
