ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A turbine having an annular array of rotatable blades which are fastened in side entry grooves disposed in discs integral with a shaft, the rotatable blades having lands which extend axially from platforms on the blade and the lands of adjacent blades cooperate to form a cylindrical surface utilized with a labyrinth seal, the blades being removable to provide access for machining a large cavity formed between adjacent discs.
