ABSTRACT A floor covering and method of making same as disclosed in which a mixture of a heat curable plastic material and an abrasive grit is applied to a sheet of base material and levelled. Subsequently a mixture of abrasive and coloured grit is sprinkled on the uncured surface. The product is then cured to produce a non-slip floor covering.
