ABSTRACT Device for heat-insulating diving suits for work under water at great depths, comprising a helmet , which is connected to a breathing apparatus with a substantially closed respiration circuit. The object is always to supply the diver, even in emergency situations when the connection to the same is cut off, with warm breathing gas, simultaneously as the respiration system is constructed so that the diver under short periods can survive without external energy- and gas supplies. These problems have been solved therein that the breathingcircuit of the breathing apparatus is to an essential part intergrated with the diving suit and arranged within its heat-insulation.
