APPLICANT: Derek Parnaby Address: WHITWORTH HALL, Nr Spennymoor County Durham DL16 7QX ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A dewatering screen comprises a foraminous curved screen, of mesh or rod construction, vibrated by a pair of magnetic or rotating vibrators, the screen being mounted at its upper end pivotally on a shaft and at its lower end on spring assembly. A collect- ing tank is disposed below the screen and an outflow leads to a settling tank. The screen may be located to accept fines from a cyclone separator, material retained by the screen being passed to a reciprocating flat screen over tank, and the coarse fraction from the separator being fed onto a flat bed screen over a settling tank.
