Abstract of the Disclosure Foam control agents for inclusion in detergent composi- tions in powder form, are particulate and comprise a silicone antifoam compound and an organic material which is a fatty acid or a fatty alcohol, having 12 to 20 carbon atoms, or a mixture thereof and which has a melting point in the range 45 to 80°C and is insoluble in water. The foam control agents are made by a process in which the antifoam and the organic material are contacted in their liquid phase. These foam control agents give a good storage stability in the detergent powders.
