TROUGHED BELT CONVEYOR Abstract of the Disclosure A troughed belt conveyor for particulate products such as coal or stone has a feed run of the belt supported within an arcuately profiled guide means formed of strips of abrasion-resistant, low-friction material running in the direction of movement of the belt. The strips may line a totally enclosed conveyor tube, minimising losses and environmental hazard. The return run is external of the tube and roller-supported. Further advantages of the conveyor include maximisation of product contained by the belt and low maintenance.
