ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention provides novel substituted heteroaryl compounds of formula Image In typical compounds of the inventlon R is halo-substituted phenyl, X is sulfur or oxygen or a direct bond, Z is oxygen or sulfur, R1 is lower alkyl and R2 is a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic ring. The compounds are good fungicides. In particular, they possess especially good activity against Bean Powdery Mildew.
