Modified protease inhibitors, process for their preparation, and pharmaceutical compositions prepared therefrom Abstract of the Disclosure The invention relates to novel modified eglins B or C, to the preparation thereof, and to pharmaceutical compositions which contain these compounds. Compared with eglin B and C, the modifica- tion consists in a terminal shortening. The compounds of the invention can be prepared e.g. by enzymatic limited proteolysis of eglins or by peptide synthesis.
