ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A process for making a polyolefin masterbatch is disclosed. The process comprises: a) intimately blending a first polyolefin, a second polyolefin and a modifying agent; b) heating the blend to a temperature between the melting temperatures of the two polyolefins; c) discharging the blend in particulate form The first polyolefin has a melting temperature less than that of the second polyolefin. Prior to heating the blend the second polyolefin has a particle size of less than about 20 US screen mesh size.
