IMPROVED FEMALE COUPLER FOR A FLUID CIRCUIT Abstract of the Disclosure A female coupler for engagement with a male coupler which has a spring loaded check valve, the female coupler includes a main poppet valve biased to a normally closed position and movable by the check valve in the male coupler to a fully opened position, a piston responsive to fluid pressure in the female coupler to force the main poppet valve to an intermediate position and open the male coupler check valve, a flow check prevention valve for normally maintaining a predetermined pressure of the fluid acting on the piston, and a second poppet valve to relieve the fluid acting on the piston.
