ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A contractible coupling for flared conduit connections of an annular configuration wherein the coupling includes a resilient metal band having tabs at the band ends permitting the band to be opened while contraction is produced by the band resiliency. A plurality of fingers located along the band lateral edges are deformed inwardly in spaced parallel relationship to the band inner surface to provide circumferentially spaced pressure points on the conduit flares being clamped.
