ABSTRACT A process for producing a propylene polymer having good flowability with an MFR of at least 10 g/10 minutes comprises a first polymerization stage consisting of at least two steps and a subsequent second polymeriza- tion stage. It is important to control the intrinsic viscosities of a crystalline propylene polymer obtained from the first step of the first polymerization stage and a crystalline propylene polymer obtained from the final step of the first polymerization stage.
